Community posting

WPCNA shares community-relevant information from residents and local organizations. Here is how it works.

How community posting works

WPCNA accepts submissions from residents and community organizations for information that is relevant to White Plains neighborhoods. All submissions are reviewed before anything is posted or shared.

This is a curated, community-serving channel — not an open bulletin board. We share things that help residents stay informed about civic life, neighborhood activity, and public-interest events in White Plains.

What we share

  • Community events (school picnics, neighborhood gatherings, block parties)
  • Neighborhood initiatives (cleanups, safety walks, beautification efforts)
  • Civic and educational programs
  • City notices (hydrant flushing, road work, public hearings)
  • Sustainability and awareness campaigns
  • Local nonprofit and community organization announcements

What we don't share

  • Yard sales or personal listings
  • Business advertising or promotions
  • Commercial services or solicitations
  • Unreviewed or anonymous submissions

Everything posted through WPCNA should be community-serving, non-commercial, and relevant to White Plains residents.

How to submit

Use the Community Postings submission form with a clear subject line and the details you would like shared. Please include:

  • A brief description of what you are sharing
  • Relevant dates, times, and locations
  • A contact name and organization (if applicable)
  • Any links or attachments

WPCNA reviews all submissions. Not everything sent will be posted, and we may edit for clarity or length. If you have questions about whether something fits, just ask.
