About this event

Explore how artists, writers, and designers use zines (ZEENS) to communicate ideas through words, images, and layout. Participants will experiment with storytelling, illustration, collage, lettering, and book design while creating a collection of original handmade books inspired by their interests, experiences, and imagination. Students will leave with a mini library of self-made zines and the confidence to continue creating and sharing their work beyond the class. For more information about zines, please check out this page on Erwin's website. This series is for teens in grades 7-12 (as of fall 2026.) Registration is required; participants must attend all four days of the series. This program is made possible through the generous support of New York-Presbyterian. Check the library page for registration, tickets, and any schedule updates.
