Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Pi Iota Omega Chapter is seeking students ages 10-13 (all genders) to participate in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Youth Leadership Institute (YLI). YLI is a youth-led and highly interactive leadership development program designed to empower and engage youth. Leadership skills will be developed by the "doing" approach via interactive workshops, youth-led meetings, committee meetings, committee leadership, and decision making. Registration is required. Leadership Development Activities include: Museums & Exhibits Trips Social Activism Events Community Service Projects Film/Media Projects Visionboard Crafting STEAM Activities Check the library page for registration, tickets, and any schedule updates.
